NeuroHub collects the following data, which is not linked to your identity:
- a. Location: This optional data is collected to center the map in the app based on your current location.
- b. Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including the duration and frequency of your sessions. We also transmit the geographical coordinates of the map (based on the area being viewed by the user as they navigate) to two places:
- o Firebase Firestore Database: the database is queried to find locations that were previously rated and return them to the app to be displayed on the map (rated locations are never connected to any specific user)
- o OpenAI's ChatGPT API: a request is made to suggest sensory friendly places and return them to the app to be displayed on the map
Please note that these coordinates do not represent the user's actual location, but rather the area being viewed on the map as navigated by the user.
- c. Diagnostics: Standard usage statistics and crash data that help maintain the app's functionality and improve our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- 1. To ensure the app's proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- 2. To analyze and improve the app's performance, features, and overall user experience.
- 3. To generate contextually relevant responses within the app
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share aggregated, anonymized usage data with third-party analytics providers to help us understand how users are interacting with the app and to improve our services.
Data Retention
We retain the collected information for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. Once the information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
